While our shelling line is relatively small, shelling about 5,000 lbs per hour, it is also a state-of the-art piece of equipment. It is manufactured by JEM Manufacturing in Corning, Ca. and is perfectly equipped to gently handle shelled walnuts. It has more than abundant aspiration to separate as much shell as possible from the kernels.
 
In addition, we have two laser sorters. A Helios laser sorter built by BEST is paired with a Key Technology Optyx laser sorter to bring the product to its final stage before being hand sorted and packed in plastic lined cartons.We are currently on schedule to more than triple our shelling capacity over the next two years.
